Join us for an offshore Gulf adventure diving the famous Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary and an oil rig off the coast of Freeport, Texas. Located nearly 100 miles offshore, Flower Garden is home to some of the healthiest coral reefs in the country, with incredible visibility, massive coral formations, and marine life ranging from sea turtles and manta rays to sharks and huge schools of fish. We’ll also spend time diving an offshore oil rig, where the giant structure creates an artificial reef packed with life and a completely different underwater experience.

This trip is best suited for intermediate to advanced divers comfortable with deeper dives, boat diving, and open-ocean conditions. If you’ve been looking for a unique U.S. dive destination that feels a little more adventurous, this is the trip for you.
Trip itinerary:
- July 9: Check in at hotel in Freeport
- July 10: Board the M/V Fling
- July 11: 5 dives at Flower Garden Banks, an oil rig (depending on availability), and a night dive
- July 12: 2 dives at Flower Garden Banks, return to port, check in at hotel
- July 13: Return home
Trip includes:
- 2 hotel nights on July 9 and 12
- 3 days, 2 nights on the M/V Fling
- All meals and non-alcoholic beverages while on board
- Tanks and weights
Does not include:
- Transportation to/from Freeport
- Meals in Freeport before/after boarding the boat
