Join us for an offshore Gulf adventure diving the famous Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary and an oil rig off the coast of Freeport, Texas. Located nearly 100 miles offshore, Flower Garden is home to some of the healthiest coral reefs in the country, with incredible visibility, massive coral formations, and marine life ranging from sea turtles and manta rays to sharks and huge schools of fish. We’ll also spend time diving an offshore oil rig, where the giant structure creates an artificial reef packed with life and a completely different underwater experience.

This trip is best suited for intermediate to advanced divers comfortable with deeper dives, boat diving, and open-ocean conditions. If you’ve been looking for a unique U.S. dive destination that feels a little more adventurous, this is the trip for you.
Trip itinerary:
- July 10: Check in at Hampton Inn Hotel in Galveston
- July 11: Visit the Moody Gardens Aquarium, enjoy the sights at Galveston, and board the M/V fling @ 7 pm
- July 12: 2 dives at West Bank, 1 dive on an oil rig (depending on availability), and 2 dives on East Bank (including a night dive)
- July 13: 2 dives at East Bank and 2 dives at Stetson Bank (including a night dive)
- July 14: 2 dives at Stetson Bank, then return to port and check in at Galveston hotel
- July 15: Breakfast at the hotel then depart for home
Trip includes:
- 2 nights at the Hampton Inn and Suites on July 10 and 14 (including breakfast for each stay)
- 4 days, 3 nights on the M/V Fling
- All meals and non-alcoholic beverages while on board
